• Received three months training in gastrointestinal and pancreaticobiliary oncosurgery in Seoul National University Hospital, Seoul, South Korea as a part of elective posting of MCh in Surgical Gastroenterology from May – August 2009.

• Received four weeks training in advanced laparoscopic surgery in Apollo Hospital New Delhi in February 2007.

• Was working as a Lecturer of General Surgery in the Department of Surgery, Institute of Medicine Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal

➢ Involved in teaching both theory and practical classes for both undergraduate and

postgraduate students and guiding the postgraduate students for the thesis work

➢ Carrying out routine clinical work, including running regular GI surgery

outpatient clinic, and looking after in-patients, performing diagnostic upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, lower GI endoscopy and ERCP, and performing major gastrointestinal surgery as well as various laparoscopic surgery.
